Job Description Position Summary: As a Facilities/Maintenance Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that can include plant optimization, new equipment installation, industrial equipment troubleshooting, and more. This position offers the chance to be exposed to a manufacturing environment that includes forging, saw cutting, heat treating, etc. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Collaborate with maintenance to troubleshoot equipment issues. Assist in developing maintenance documentation including procedures and safety documents. Create/update 2D and 3D CAD files. Assist with capital projects to maintain or upgrade facility equipment. Assist with capital projects to install new equipment. Collaborate with the safety team on various projects. Represents maintenance on cross-functional teams. Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulation. Excellent communication and organizational skills Drive, determination, and a self-disciplined approach to achieving results; able to work independently without close supervision Team oriented/cooperative Critical problem analysis, decision making and analytical abilities Strong attention to detail Experienced with AutoCAD / SolidWorks Experience & Education: Sophomore, junior, or senior college student earning a bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical, industrial, aerospace or a similar engineering field. Cumulative G.P.A of 2.8 or higher.
