Job Description

Position Summary:

As a Facilities/Maintenance Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that can include plant optimization, new equipment installation, industrial equipment troubleshooting, and more. This position offers the chance to be exposed to a manufacturing environment that includes forging, saw cutting, heat treating, etc.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Collaborate with maintenance to troubleshoot equipment issues.

  • Assist in developing maintenance documentation including procedures and safety documents.
  • Create/update 2D and 3D CAD files.
  • Assist with capital projects to maintain or upgrade facility equipment.
  • Assist with capital projects to install new equipment.
  • Collaborate with the safety team on various projects.
  • Represents maintenance on cross-functional teams.
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulation.

Experience & Education:

  • Sophomore, junior, or senior college student earning a bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical, industrial, aerospace or a similar engineering field.
  • Cumulative G.P.A of 2.8 or higher.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $20.75 to $25.75 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 0 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
