About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to work in our Whitesboro, NY facility.

Pursuit Aerospace is a contract manufacturer of high-quality formed, precision machined, and fabricated aerospace parts. We have been in business for over 50 years and have consistently produced top-quality products for companies in over a dozen countries.

We're looking for a top-notch Quality Engineer to provide outstanding customer service to our customers and business leaders in our Whitesboro, NY, facility. We need people who thrive in a fast-paced environment, who are looking for a good challenge, and who are dedicated to creating and developing superior customer relationships.

  • You'll be on a team who acts in both strategic and tactical capacities providing full-life cycle Engineering support
  • You'll partner to proactively identify and solve issues
  • You'll provide formal and informal coaching to associates at all levels of our business in an impactful, collaborative, and consultative manner

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates technical degree or higher
  • Ability to write clear work instructions and to support QMS documents in English.
  • Must be able to interpret blueprints, engineering sketches, and technical documents to determine appropriate measurement methods.
  • CMM experience is a positive
  • Proficiency in Microsoft WORD and EXCEL
  • Develop and audit IMS and FAI documents for accuracy and effectiveness
  • Assess the risk of a process using FMEA methodology
  • Improve supplier partnerships, issue and control closures of SCARS as required
  • Implement and maintain Process Certifications
  • Inspect, verify and document dimensional requirements
  • Instruct and mentor employees as needed to improve QMS effectiveness
  • Respond to customer-driven CAR requests with appropriate and effective process improvements
  • Support Companywide Kaizen initiatives
