We're looking for a Sr. Program Manager, AMER Benefits. The ideal candidate has excellent communications and relationship-building skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong vendor management skills and is a subject matter expert in US and LATAM benefit compliance laws.

You'll be responsible for managing the Americas Health and Welfare benefit programs, helping us achieve our goals of providing world-class solutions for our employees and their families. This role ensures a seamless employee experience through operational efficiency and integrity using process management, data validation, vendor management and system integration oversight. The position serves as the primary point of accountability for benefits-related compliance with various federal and state regulations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBIITIES:
  • Vendor Management: Oversee daily operations and vendor management of Americas benefit programs including self-insured and insured medical plans, pharmacy, dental, vision, business travel/medical, and life insurance /AD&D.

  • Compliance and Reporting: Assure plan compliance with regulatory filings and updates, notices, plan audits, non-discrimination testing, ACA reporting, and city, state and federal compliance, etc. Manage program reconciliations, reporting and analysis.

  • Manage U.S annual Open Enrollment process including ensuring the Benefit enrollment system is testing and accurate, vendor management readiness, and manage the employee communication campaign.

  • Manage benefits administrative enrollment systems and ensure updated accordingly with plan design and rate changes, test new features and capabilities, and manage open items log. Understand the end-to-end dataflow between our various systems and the business requirements of each, research and resolve integration-related edits/issues.

  • Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Process Optimization
    Document and clarify standard operating procedures and innovate operating efficiencies, apply operational rigor. Partner with HRIS and Payroll teams to optimize benefits administration processes and enhance data accuracy and reporting capabilities.

  • Benchmarking and Networking: Represent Snowflake Benefits at industry conferences and forums, Understand industry trends and emerging challenges and make evidenced-based recommendations based on data and analytics.

  • Employee Advocate: Act as point of escalation for outsourced benefit service center, and manage employee Benefits Advocate relationship. Manage employee communication campaigns, supporting virtual and onsite program promotion, and employee events.

  • Partnerships: Partner with regional Benefit teams to evaluate our current benefit programs and make recommendations for improvements that align with our values and objectives. Partner with various internal teams such as Payroll, Legal, Procurement, Sourcing, Data Privacy, Data Security, to ensure ongoing alignment on open items, policies, contracts, vendor management and renewals.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in benefits program management or operations.

  • Knowledge of compliance requirements related to U.S. and LATAM Benefit program administration.

  • Proven Project Management experience within HR or Benefits.

  • Proficiency with Workday and experience with system integrations and file feeds.

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience with benefits administration platforms

  • Experience managing multiple vendor partner relationships and internal stakeholder teams

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing/workflow system

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
  • Strategic thinker with a strong continuous improvement mindset and attention to detail.

  • Agility in navigating ambiguity and adapting to evolving regulatory landscapes.

  • High diligence and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations.

  • Experience conducting benchmarking, trend analysis, and benefits plan optimization.

  • Ability to align benefit operations with broader People Team strategy and total rewards goals.

  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels of leadership.

  • Collaboration effectiveness and ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $142,000 - $185,800.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
