Precision Electrical/Mechanical Assembler

Location: Sudbury, MA

Perm: 24-28 per hour - Excellent benefits

Looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Precision Electrical/Mechanical Assembler to join our production team. This role focuses on the integration of high-precision electrical and electromechanical components into advanced CNC milling and turning systems. Rather than building machines from the ground up, this position involves customizing and integrating mechanical components-such as robotic arms and control systems-onto base machines supplied from Japan. Each system is uniquely configured to meet specific customer requirements, making this an ideal role for someone who thrives in a highly customized, technical environment.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in electrical or electromechanical assembly, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately with complex schematics and tight tolerances in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and route wiring harnesses, control panels, terminal blocks, and electrical enclosures.
  • Will solder wires and connectors.
  • Connect and terminate wiring for motors, sensors, encoders, and control systems according to electrical schematics
  • Perform continuity testing and insulation resistance checks to verify proper electrical connections
  • Assemble and mount CNC control units (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi) into machine cabinets and enclosures.
  • Will kit parts.

Documentation & Quality Control

  • Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Follow detailed work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality checklists
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with company and industry standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used

The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, and performance. Depending on the position, benefits may include medical, dental, and vision coverage; retirement and savings plans; paid holidays and time off; supplemental insurance; and additional wellness or incentive programs.
