Creative Director, In-App Content

Adobe Inc.
United States, California, San Francisco
Feb 27, 2026
Job Description

We're looking for a Creative Director, In-App Content, to coordinate the creation and delivery of high-quality, trend-aligned templates, effects, filters, transitions, and motion assets for Adobe Premiere on mobile. In this role, you'll define the visual style and lead the creative strategy for ongoing, regular content releases across global markets. You will set aesthetic standards to ensure quality, and offer mentorship to a distributed network of designers, animators, creators, and regional partners.

What You'll Do

We will join forces to build a team of creatives and producers. Your direct responsibility will include the visual identity and motion language for in-app content that will be deployed in Adobe Premiere on mobile. We look for you to establish a high standard of craft and originality across templates, transitions, effects, titles, filters, and beyond. Content will be global and needs to reflect regional trends and cultural sensitivity.

As Creative Director you will handle reviewing, refining, and approving all assets ahead of their release. As this is a new function, you'll be responsible for developing some of the content yourself while we build out the team.

You'll join forces with our Lead Producer and trend analysis team to craft monthly themed content packs guided by cultural calendars, platform trends, and emerging aesthetics. You'll convert trend research into detailed creative briefs for both internal and external contributors.

We expect you to develop style guides, creative guidelines, and documentation that help maintain content consistency with product and technical requirements on all applicable surfaces.

Team Building & Collaboration

As the creative lead for internal designers and a worldwide network of creatives, you will guide employees, freelancers, agencies, and regional teams daily. You will coach designers and animators to improve their skills and maintain consistently outstanding results.

We will be working cross-functionally with engineering, product management, marketing, our community and social teams, finance, and more. Understanding how the team's work fits into the broader strategy and effectively communicating and working with others will be key to your success.

What You'll Bring
  • 10+ years of experience in creative direction, motion design and animation, content creation, or related fields.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating elevated design aesthetic, motion graphics expertise, and brand-forward thinking.
  • Experience editing video, creating motion graphic animations, and designing templates.
  • Ability to guide both conceptual and production-level work across global teams.
  • Solid understanding of social trends (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts) along with knowledge of cultural nuance for regional content packs.
