Develop the VE scorecard and workplan aligned with the Propulsion Systems Development Process (PSDP), program timelines, and DVP&R requirements. Ensure all functional requirements are met, including integration, validation, and compliance across functional disciplines, including:
- Coordinate the VE work plan across propulsion groups, vehicle teams, suppliers, testing, program management, and other functional VE teams, ensuring proper sequencing of complex workstreams (models, analyses, and deadlines) are executed.
- Collaborate with product release teams to confirm design requirements are addressed in the VE scorecard.
- Summarize and report program status through VE scorecards and workplans as key KPI deliverables to leadership (VP, Directors, Chief Engineers, Integration Managers, Program Management) using standardized formats and processes.
- Validate VE budget estimates and ensure alignment with required task and incorporate into ER&D rollup.
- Actively contribute to program reviews, ER&D reviews, and critical issue discussions.
- Ensure VE requirements are included in sourcing packages.
- Negotiate and secure timely delivery of models from suppliers.
- Identify VE-related risks during analysis and develop mitigation plans in alignment with PRCs and PFDI groups.
- Manage delivery of synthesis models for partners, ensuring quality, configuration integrity, and on-time completion.
- Adhere to established program execution processes and recommend improvements for future initiatives.
