About the Role

We're looking for a solutions-focused leader with a passion for operational excellence to join our team as Manager, Transport & Delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for leading delivery teams and ensuring the effective, reliable, and high-quality execution of transport delivery operations. This position oversees day-to-day workflow, monitors delivery performance and quality, manages client communications against service level agreements (SLAs), and collaborates cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement and successful implementations. This role is accountable for achieving strong delivery outcomes aligned with organizational objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop delivery team members to achieve operational and performance goals.
  • Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Plan, coordinate, and optimize daily transport delivery workflows to meet delivery schedules and demand.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and adjust workflows as needed to maintain service levels.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding delivery performance and SLA attainment.
  • Manage client expectations, support onboarding activities, and resolve escalated issues in a timely manner.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements, process changes, and new initiatives.
  • Track delivery quality metrics, lead root cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading projects in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (intermediate level or above), required.
  • Experience in process management and cross-functional team leadership.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or higher is an asset.
  • 1-2 years of people leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to navigate high-change environments and resolve client escalations effectively.
  • Comfortable presenting to multiple levels of internal and external audiences.

Location

Owings Mills, MD

The hiring base salary range for this position is $101,900 - $140,140 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
