Manager, Software Development

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of software developers and architects. Design and implement scalable, high-performance software solutions using Angular, Azure services and .NET. Develop enterprise web applications with a focus on user experience using Angular.

  • Ensure code quality and maintainability by conducting code reviews and applying best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and achieve project goals.

  • Provide technical leadership in Angular, .Net and Azure technologies.

  • Actively participate in the hands-on development of the application set, demonstrating technical expertise and fostering a culture of quality and innovation.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all applications and provide regular progress reports to management, ensuring transparency and accountability.

  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in system design, software architecture and development processes.

  • Manage project timelines, resources, and risk assessments.

  • Mentor and develop team members through coaching, performance reviews, and goal setting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and eight years of experience application development.

  • Experience must include four years each of the following: application development management; managing all phases of the project life cycle, including running project prioritization and post-installation project post-mortem meetings, meeting deadlines, and delivering projects on budget; and Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

  • Experience must include three years software architecture design and implementation.

  • Experience must include two years each of the following: software development with Azure, .NET, and Angular; containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes within Azure ecosystems; DDD (domain driven design), Event driven, Microfrontend, and Microservices architectural patterns; and cloud services. Experience may be gained concurrently.

Salary: $238,290 - $250,451/year
