Clariant is seeking a Maintenance Excellence Leader to support the Catalysts Business Unit at our Louisville, KY production facility. This role drives safe, compliant, and reliable plant operations through best-in-class maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution. Leveraging CMMS technology, data-driven insights, and continuous improvement practices, the Maintenance Excellence Leader ensures work is well-defined, properly resourced, and executed on time. The position plays a key role in optimizing shutdowns and outages, strengthening preventive and predictive maintenance culture, and aligning maintenance activities with operational priorities and BU performance goals. Responsibilities

* Lead maintenance planning and scheduling to ensure all critical equipment has compliant, timely maintenance aligned with plant priorities, uptime targets, and budgets
* Ensure compliance with all local legal requirements, permits, and Clariant safety and environmental policies, proactively managing risk and corrective actions
* Own maintenance of SAP data accuracy and documentation, including SAMACO material lists, work orders, task plans, and SAP utilization
* Ensure parts, materials, and labor resources are available ahead of execution, improving backlog health and work order readiness
* Establish and enforce scheduling freeze periods to maximize plant uptime while managing changing production demands
* Lead or support shutdown and outage planning and execution to minimize downtime and enable reliable vertical start-ups
* Apply reliability-centered maintenance and root cause analysis to define effective repair strategies and reduce repeat failures
* Drive continuous improvement through KPI tracking, PDCA cycles, gap analyses, and structured look-back reviews
* Build and sustain a preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance culture through coaching, training, and accountability

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* 5+ years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and outage management
* 3+ years of experience applying reliability-centered maintenance methodologies
* Strong technical aptitude with proven root cause analysis capability
* Experience with SAP or similar CMMS platforms and continuous improvement methods
