Staff Designer, Monetization Growth

Adobe Inc.
United States, California, San Francisco
Mar 17, 2026
The opportunity

We're looking for a motivated and innovative Staff Designer to join the Monetization Growth Design team at Adobe. In this high-impact role, you'll help shape the future of our commerce experiences across mobile and web. You'll focus on end-to-end monetization journeys - from acquisition and checkout to upsell and renewal - for both individual users and businesses.

You'll work across multiple surfaces and products to design scalable, strategic solutions that balance user needs with business impact. This is a unique opportunity to drive visible, measurable outcomes through thoughtful design.

What you'll do
  • Design and optimize commerce and monetization touchpoints across products and experiences.

  • Lead and contribute to high-visibility design initiatives that drive key business metrics like conversion, retention, and revenue.

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams: Product Managers, Experience Designers, Content Designers, Engineers, and Data Science to build high-quality experiences.

  • Translate insights from user research, experimentation, and business goals into scalable design systems and patterns.

  • Balance fast-paced iteration with thoughtful, craft-driven execution.

  • Help shape how we approach monetization across Adobe's products and experiences with systems thinking and an eye toward future scalability.

In this role, you will:
  • Be a strategic contributor who can zoom in and out - delivering pixel-perfect execution while also influencing broader strategic solutions.

  • Manage your own workload while collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Proactively identify areas where design can have the greatest impact and advocate for the user throughout the process.

  • Work within a fast-moving, metrics-driven environment, eager to experiment, using data-led approaches to test hypotheses and drive measurable outcomes.

  • Design experiences that are inclusive and accessible - championing user-focused interfaces that meet the needs of diverse audiences.

  • Influence how millions of users - including creatives, professionals, and teams - interact with Adobe's industry-leading products through intentional, user-first design.

  • Facilitate and actively participate in roadmap planning discussions, ensuring design has a voice early and often in product strategy.

  • Be an active, collaborative member of the growth design community at Adobe - sharing work, giving feedback, helping others grow, and improving the ways we work.

What you need to succeed

Must-haves:
7-10+ years of experience in design with a strong portfolio that shows excellence in UX/UI design across mobile and web.
Demonstrated success designing for commerce or monetization experiences.
Strong visual design skills paired with strategic thinking - you approach problems holistically and balance user needs with business goals.
Familiarity with experimentation (A/B testing), data-driven design, and growth principles.
Comfort using both quantitative and qualitative research to inform your work, uncover opportunities, and validate decisions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills - you can clearly articulate your rationale to Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and Senior Leadership.
Proactive mindset with the ability to manage ambiguity and push projects forward independently.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience working in or with a growth team.

  • Familiarity with B2B and B2C product experiences.

  • Strong understanding of scaling experiences internationally.

  • Knowledge of experimentation and growth frameworks.

  • Comfort working with design systems or helping evolve them.

  • Passion for experience design and a deep interest in how technology and design intersect to make digital products more accessible, equitable, and user centered.

Preferred Accessibility Design Skills:

  • Experience designing accessible and inclusive interfaces for people with disabilities.

  • Understanding of applying WCAG conformance criteria in design, specifically testing comps, wireframes, and prototypes for accessibility standards.

  • Accessibility certifications CPACC, WAS, CPWA, or ADS from the IAAP preferred.

How to apply

To be considered for this role, please submit your resume and portfolio. We'd especially like to see strong systems thinking, elegant design solutions, how you collaborate across teams, including engineering and product, and proven ability to adapt your designs based on what you learn.
