Security Officer - Distribution Site - Driver

As a Security Officer - Distribution Site - Driver in Lancaster, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location where you will conduct unarmed patrols, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will use a company vehicle and your valid driver's license to cover assigned areas, document activity, and assist with access control and guest interactions. Bring clear communication, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and shipping and receiving areas, verify credentials as required, and document entries, exits, and deliveries according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or public responders when needed.
• Complete detailed reports and activity logs, communicate shift updates, and support investigations by preserving observations and available information.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
