Database Administrator (DBA) - SQL Server

Peraton is seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) - SQL Server to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals.

This position manages EFMS database environments to support performance, integrity, and availability of form data, workflows, and reporting.

This position is remote but prefer candidates be local to Columbus, OH

Day to Day Roles and Responsibilities:

Maintain and tune SQL Server databases
• Support schema updates and query optimization
• Ensure data integrity and performance
• Support backup, recovery, and DR processes

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree and 8 years of experience or a Associates degree and 10 years of experience or a High School diploma and 12 years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
• 8+ years of experience as a Database Administrator supporting enterprise environments.
• Strong experience administering and tuning Microsoft SQL Server, including performance optimization and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated expertise in database schema management and version control practices.
• Proven ability to securely manage and protect sensitive data in compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
