Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a ventilation background to join our team! Experience in design, maintenance, and testing of confinement ventilation systems/components in new nuclear facilities is preferred. This individual will be responsible for the application of local and national codes and standards to nuclear and non-nuclear facilities. This position will require the application of conventional engineering and scientific solutions to resolve technical task objectives in a timely, cost-effective, and safe manner. Employee will be required to climb stairs and ladders, support work in radiological areas, be present on field walkdowns indoors and outdoors, have the ability to develop and work to a schedule, as well as manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
