The VP, Global Renewals owns the global SaaS subscription & maintenance renewals across high touch, mid touch, and low touch models. This executive drives retention, expansion, and services revenue while scaling and automating renewal operations worldwide. The role oversees a global organization of 150+ employees across the Americas, APJ, and EMEA, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.

A Day in the Life Typically Includes

  • Leading end to end renewal operations for strategic, mid market, and SMB customers globally.
  • Partnering with Customer Success Executives and Account Executives to align roles, streamline engagement, and drive joint strategic renewal planning.
  • Collaborating pre and post renewal to mitigate risk, enable product swaps, and preserve revenue through creative pricing and risk management plays.
  • Developing and executing strategies to increase multi year deal adoption, while maintaining uplift % and improving overall renewal rates.
  • Overseeing automation initiatives-including billing platforms, payment portals, and workflow tools-to scale mid and low touch renewal motions.
  • Redesigning our strategic renewal motion for Enterprise accounts
  • Managing regional renewal leaders and cultivating a high performance, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.
  • Analyzing churn, attrition, and customer health data to identify retention drivers and embed the voice of the customer into renewal strategies.
  • Owning forecast accuracy, renewal predictability, and expansion pipeline visibility.
  • Leading change management efforts tied to process optimization, technology enablement, and continuous improvement across the renewal lifecycle.
  • Partnering with marketing and enablement teams to develop renewal centric collateral, pricing plays, and competitive battlecards.
  • Ensuring global awareness of region specific compliance, commercial norms, and contractual considerations impacting renewals.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience leading SaaS subscription & maintenance renewal motions at scale across diverse customer segments in a multi-billion dollar company.
  • Experience managing and scale high touch, mid touch, and low touch renewal processes.
  • Have experience in strategic and operational leadership driving automation, efficiency, and multi year contract adoption.
  • Experience managing large, distributed teams across multiple global regions.
  • Collaboration skills with cross functional teams including Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Finance.
  • Experience improving renewal forecast accuracy, reducing churn, and increasing customer lifetime value.
  • Experience leading change management initiatives and technology driven transformation to support scale.
