Required Skills for Success

• Education: High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred.
• Experience: 3-5 years in manufacturing customer service.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and internal teams.
• Knowledge of basic accounting, ERP systems, and document management tools.

A Day in This Role

As a Customer Service Accounting Assistant, you will complete accurate order entry in Pointman (SAP/ERP). Review purchase orders, prepare quotes, and create factory orders. Communicate production updates and order status to customers and Application & Sales Engineers. Coordinate trucking, logistics, and scheduling for customer shipments. Track shipments and provide proof of delivery. Enter and organize invoices in customer portals (Ariba, Coupa, Taulia, Corporate AP Emails). Perform invoicing for Ruston-related operations as assigned. Maintain estimated and requested ship dates to support inventory and production planning. Handle customer complaints, returns, and allowances. Communicate customer requirements across internal plant departments. Send customer satisfaction surveys. Provide general support for customer and vendor arrivals. Assist with Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and crossdepartment workflow improvements. Support occasional training and direction for other team members.
