Job Summary: The Inventory Clerk 2 performs advanced inventory functions, including cycle counts, stock audits, and inventory reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of inventory systems and procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in managing inventory records. May assist with training junior staff and coordinate with other departments to maintain optimal stock levels. Works under close supervision and follows established procedures. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update inventory records in ERP and ServiceNow, ensuring accurate electronic tracking of all physical movements. Monitor stock levels and report shortages to ensure timely replenishment of critical parts and materials. Monitor and replenish materials required for equipment and facility upkeep, including cleaning supplies. Perform cycle counts, stock audits, and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly. Deliver and retrieve components for system upkeep; manage parts delivery, returns, and ServiceNow updates. Process faulty components (RMA tagging, repair depot transfer) and update records accordingly. Handle revenue cash boxes and vaults requiring repair; prepare and send damaged units to third-party repair facilities. Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments. Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to support operational needs. Train and mentor Inventory Clerk I staff on processes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of inventory areas and workspaces, including breaking down boxes, managing scrap metal, and recycling materials. Operate company vehicle for deliveries and pickups; may operate a forklift as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 2 years of inventory or warehouse experience. Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle); ServiceNow experience a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and lead small projects. Solid understanding of inventory management practices, including cycle counts, audits, and stock control. Skilled in updating and maintaining accurate electronic records in ERP and ServiceNow systems. Familiarity with parts handling, RMA processes, and repair workflows. Effective communication and teamwork skills; able to coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams and mentor junior staff. Physical capability to lift/move parts and operate a forklift or company vehicle. Strong organizational skills to maintain clean, efficient inventory areas and manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
Cubic Pay Range: $16.15 - $27.00 + benefits.
