Consultant - YHire for Finance and Accounting

Job Description

Crowe is seeking a Consultant to join our dynamic YHire for Finance and Accounting team within our Studio group. This role focuses on supporting the delivery of high-quality Client Accounting Services (CAS) to a diverse client base. The Consultant will contribute to day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives while developing technical and client service skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys hands-on work, collaborating within a team environment, and supporting emerging and high-growth businesses. This is a hybrid position, with 2-3 days in office each week to foster collaboration and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for multiple client engagements
  • Perform general ledger maintenance, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data through detailed review and documentation
  • Assist in preparing Management Reporting Packages for client delivery
  • Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management processes as needed
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Coordinate with tax professionals to gather and organize required tax reporting information
  • Maintain compliance with Crowe's independence and risk governance framework
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and assist with implementing best practices
  • Support client meetings by preparing materials, reports, and follow-up documentation
  • Manage assigned tasks across multiple engagements while meeting deadlines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
  • 1-3+ years of experience in outsourced accounting, Client Accounting Services (CAS), or public accounting
  • CPA, CMA, CGMA, ACCA, or progress toward certification preferred
  • Foundational knowledge of GAAP
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with accounting and financial systems such as QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Bill.com, Ramp, ADP, Paycor, Gusto, Expensify, and intermediate to advanced Excel
  • Travel up to 10-20% as needed

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $58,800.00 - $109,600.00 per year.
