JLL is currently seeking to add a Senior Project Manager to provide reliable, timely, and professional support for complex, enterprise-level projects. This role requires executive-level presence and the ability to work seamlessly with C-suite stakeholders across the organization. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional financial acumen, strategic thinking, and a portfolio mindset while managing projects from initiation through completion with minimal supervision.

Essential Functions

Strategic Project Leadership:

  • Support project executives on multiple high-visibility projects and assignments from plan, design, construction and close-out

  • Develop comprehensive scope, schedule, and strategic frameworks for assigned projects with enterprise-wide impact

  • Demonstrate executive-level presence when interfacing with senior leadership and external stakeholders

  • Apply portfolio mindset and strategic thinking to align project outcomes with broader organizational objectives

Financial Management & Strategic Planning:

  • Assist PDS Lead in capital planning initiatives and provide strategic financial recommendations to executive stakeholders

  • Assist PDS Lead in advanced financial forecasting and scenario planning to support executive decision-making

  • Manage complex project budgets with precision, ensuring financial accuracy and adherence to enterprise financial goals

  • Assist PDS Lead in analyzing financial data and create detailed reports providing actionable insights to C-suite leadership

Enterprise Risk Mitigation & Cost Optimization:

  • Execute comprehensive risk mitigation strategies to protect enterprise assets and minimize financial exposure

  • Proactively identify cost avoidance opportunities by analyzing market trends, alternative solutions, and preventive measures

  • Utilize programmatic approaches to project delivery that drive economies of scale and reduce overall enterprise costs

  • Conduct value engineering exercises to optimize project outcomes while minimizing financial investment

  • Use enterprise-wide cost benchmarking and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and cost reduction

Risk Management & Vendor Relations:

  • Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential risks surrounding projects, including logistical issues, budget variations, and scope changes

  • Generate, coordinate, interview and provide strategic recommendations through established Vendor Request for Proposals ("RFPs") processes

  • Interact and negotiate with contractors and subcontractors at the executive level

  • Evaluate contractor project bids and change orders, identifying scope gaps and pricing discrepancies

Project Execution & Stakeholder Management:

  • Prepare and deliver executive-level project status reports, process invoices, and maintain comprehensive tracking reports

  • Actively track each aspect of project performance against schedules and critical path milestones

  • Coordinate with multiple organizations and individuals across the enterprise to ensure deliverables are achieved

  • Design and construction document review for scope validation and coordination

Technology & Process Excellence:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in advanced project management technology and enterprise systems

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation ensuring clarity and transparency for executive review

Education and Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Finance, or related field

  • Minimum of 10 years of project management experience with proven track record of enterprise-level project delivery

  • Minimum of 5 years experience working directly with executive stakeholders and C-suite leadership

  • Demonstrated experience in capital planning, financial forecasting, and complex budget management

  • Portfolio management experience with strategic, enterprise-focused thinking

  • Proven track record of delivering measurable cost savings and cost avoidance for enterprise organizations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Executive Presence & Strategic Thinking:

  • Executive-level presence with ability to confidently interface with C-suite stakeholders

  • Portfolio mindset with strategic, enterprise-focused approach to project management

  • Demonstrated ability to align tactical execution with strategic organizational objectives

Financial Expertise:

  • Advanced financial experience including capital planning, financial forecasting, and budget management

  • Comprehensive understanding of enterprise financial metrics and reporting

  • Ability to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership

  • Expertise in cost optimization strategies, value engineering, and programmatic cost reduction methodologies

Technical Competencies:

  • Comprehensive understanding and ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications

  • Understanding of material specification process and selection in retail environments

  • Thorough knowledge of design development, construction documentation, and construction processes

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with ability to present to executive audiences

  • Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple complex, high-stakes projects simultaneously

  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities with strategic focus

  • Self-motivated, dedicated, and goal-oriented with ability to work independently

  • Flexibility with work hours and travel as business needs require

  • Proven ability to work under pressure in deadline-driven environments while maintaining strategic perspective

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

160,000.00 - 170,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
