About the Internship:

As a Summer Intern in Okta's GTM Strategy & Operations group, you will act as a Data Analyst within the Strategic Planning team. You will support the "headcount engine" by performing data-driven analyses that enable leaders to make critical decisions and lay the groundwork for an integrated financial and operational plan. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys transforming complex datasets into structured insights and building tools to improve operational efficiency.

What You'll Get to Do:



  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Assist in transforming complex datasets into structured analyses.
  • Systems & Tools: Support the management of headcount data within Anaplan, ensuring it remains the "source of truth" for cross-functional partners.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with FP&A, HR, and Regional Operations


Who We are Looking For:



  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field preferred with an expected graduation date of Dec. 2026 or May/June 2027
  • Excel Skills (Required): Must be proficient in Excel (ie SUMIFS, Index/Match, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables)
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when managing complex data that impacts key business metrics
  • Technical Aptitude: A desire to learn enterprise planning tools like Anaplan (Anaplan skills not required)
  • Collaboration: Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a global team.
