Requisition ID req35933 Working Title Contract & Grant Administrator Position Grade 11 Position Summary The School of Engineering (SoE) seeks a highly motivated individual to work as a member of the SoE Dean's Research Support Office (RSO) to build a strong, competitive research program as part of the Faculty Research Development Network. The successful candidate will work to support the development of SoE proposals for external funding, assisting researchers in developing the non-technical portions of proposals. Core tasks for this position include the development and evaluation of budgets, budget justifications, the development of records in UNM's research administration software, as well as agency submission portals and helping ensure that proposals address all sponsor-required criteria. The successful candidate will have effective problem-solving skills, be highly organized, detail oriented, work effectively as part of a team, and manage multiple activities with firm deadlines. This entry-level position will allow opportunities for promotion and/or professional developments depending on successful job performance. Duties and Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 6 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
