Summary of Role The Marketing Business Analyst provides dedicated analytics, research, and performance measurement support to the Marketing & Communications team. This role enables deeper insights into growth opportunities, competitive positioning, and campaign effectiveness by translating complex data into actionable business intelligence. The analyst partners closely with marketing leadership and key stakeholders to advance datadriven decision making, improve measurement maturity, and strengthen the organization's research and analytics capabilities. This role functions as a shared analytics resource, supporting multiple leaders and initiatives without adding management overhead. Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities Digital Marketing Analytics
- LeverageGoogle Analyticsto analyze website traffic, user behavior, conversion paths, and funnel performance.
- Partner with VP of Digital Marketing to measure effectiveness across paid, owned, and earned channels.
- Evaluate campaign performance, attribution, and engagement metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve digital experiences, member journeys, and campaign outcomes.
Performance Measurement & Reporting
- Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports to track marketing KPIs, trends, and ROI.
- Establish standardized reporting frameworks to ensure consistent measurement across campaigns and channels.
- Monitor performance on an ongoing basis, proactively identifying insights, anomalies, and opportunities.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and clarity across all reporting outputs.
Research & Market Intelligence
- Conduct market, member, and competitive research to identify trends, gaps, opportunities, and risks.
- Support benchmarking initiatives to assess performance relative to competitors and industry peers.
- Synthesize insights from multiple data sources-including internal performance data and external research-to inform positioning, messaging, and growth strategies.
- Partner with VP of Competitive Insights to develop research summaries and presentations that clearly communicate findings and implications.
- Utilize data visualization and reporting tools to support research analysis and storytelling (Power BI proficiency a plus).
Minimum Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Marketing, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-6 years of experience in a business analyst, marketing analyst, or analyticsfocused role.
- Strong expertise inGoogle Analytics, including advanced analysis and performance interpretation.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
- Strong analytical, problemsolving, and criticalthinking skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency inPower BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, and visualization.
- Experience supporting marketing, digital, or growth analytics in a financial institution, credit union, or similarly regulated industry.
- Familiarity with additional analytics tools or marketing automation tools such as Hubspot.
- Experience with competitive analysis, benchmarking, performance measurement and dashboard development frameworks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint)
Starting Compensation: $65,990-$80,838 annually, plus a competitive benefits package. Bilingual individuals who are fluent in a second language in addition to English are highly encouraged to apply.
