As a Security Officer Flex Access Driver in Monroe Township, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will greet visitors, manage badging and entry authorization, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help reduce incidents while delivering customer-focused communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors at a government location by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Control access to the facility by verifying identification, processing visitor and contractor check-in and/or check-out, issuing temporary credentials when authorized, and maintaining access logs per post orders.
  • Monitor entry points, cameras, and/or alarm panels as assigned, and report unusual activity or policy concerns through established communication and escalation procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations, route control, and coordinating with onsite personnel and/or public responders as directed.
  • Complete detailed reports on access activity, incidents, and other security-related events, and communicate shift updates to Allied Universal management and onsite stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
