As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. You will perform routine patrols, document observations, and support store teams and shoppers with a customer-first approach. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to store associates, vendors, and shoppers by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor, stock areas, loading areas, and exterior perimeter, noting suspicious activity and reporting concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, and/or alarm activations, and coordinate with management and emergency services as directed.
• Monitor access points and key areas, help to deter theft and/or loitering through high-visibility presence, and complete required incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Support loss prevention and store operations by observing for policy violations, assisting with customer issues, and/or providing guidance on site rules while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
