As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Data Center in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed patrol officer, conducting routine rounds and remaining highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service, document observations, assist visitors and staff with clear communication, and support site protocols with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and contractors at a government location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and assigned post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to identify suspicious activity, unsecured areas, and security-related hazards; document observations and notify appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, medical response support, and coordination with law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed.
• Control access points by verifying identification, monitoring entry and exit, enforcing posted rules, and/or conducting visual inspections as required by site procedures.
• Prepare clear, timely reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and policy violations; preserve scene conditions when required and assist with investigations by providing statements and video or access-control information.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
