Construction Intern - Estimating

This intern position will support Lane's Estimating Team in the Charlotte, NC office.

Responsibilities:

• 
  
  Assist with quantity takeoffs and basic cost calculations.
  
  
• 
  
  Reviewplans and specifications to identify project scope.
  
  
• 
  
  Help preparecost estimates, bid documents, and proposal materials.
  
  
• 
  
  Gather and organizesubcontractor and vendor quotes.
  
  
• 
  
  Update estimating files, historical cost data, and internal databases.
  
  
• 
  
  Support team meetings and occasional site visits to understand project conditions.
  
  
• 
  
  Provide general administrative and documentation support for active bids.
  
  
• May work with HCSS heavy bid, Bluebeam, & Primavera software.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Pursuinga B.S or M.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related degree to function
