Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provides front-line support for routine benefits inquiries and directs complex questions to the appropriate team member.
  • Assists with benefits enrollment processing for new hires, terminations, and qualifying life events by collecting documentation and preparing forms.
  • Maintains accurate benefits records and confidential files; supports document retention and organization.
  • Supports open enrollment by assembling materials, coordinating meeting logistics, and sending reminders and communications as directed.
  • Assists with carrier and vendor communications such as ID card requests, basic eligibility questions, and follow-up items.
  • Supports data entry and audits related to benefits eligibility and payroll deductions; escalates discrepancies for resolution.
  • Demonstrates strong customer service to employees and vendors and supports a positive employee experience.
  • Performs other HR/benefits tasks and special projects as needed.

Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years of HR and benefits support experience preferred
  • Workday experience preferred
  • Excellent written communication, planning and organization skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Knowledge and successful application of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to anticipate, as well as demonstrate and possess a high level of creativity, adaptability and initiative
  • Knowledge and successful application of Microsoft office applications
