Job Summary
The Solutions Architect applies broad knowledge of company product capabilities and service offerings to create and maintain a portfolio of
generic product/solution alternatives. The Solutions Architect is responsible for translating the client's business requirements into specific systems, applications, or process designs for large, complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. The Solutions Architect is project-based, sometimes working at customer sites.
Essential Functions
- Create and maintain portfolio of product and solution alternatives or the healthcare industry. Provide a core idea or springboard concept that meets the requirements for an overall solution.
* Offerings can be customized to meet the needs of current and prospective clients. Architect high performance, stable, repeatable technology solutions. * Proper and effective reuse of application and technical services, frameworks and standard tools and templates in the proposed solution. Creation of a technical roadmap and keeping it current. - Perform as a liaison between business and technology teams and act as an advocate for the client.
* Address system integration, compatibility and platform integration concerns across deployed applications. Translates the client's business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large and/ or complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. Lead and mentor emerging Health and client technology teams. * Provide leadership and direction to solution delivery teams to ensure the solution design meets the requirements of the client. - Applies business knowledge and market strategies to the development of client-facing solutions, build-out cost estimates and vendor support requirements for service offerings.
* Contribute to project plans, work assignments and resource level of effort assessment. * Quality assurance review by Product Director. - Act as authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems and provides direction for design activities.
* Perform as a liaison between business and technology teams. * Meet client's business requirements with the design of systems, applications, or architecture. - Provides consultative and technical sales support including presentations to, and meetings with prospective and existing clients. Participate in the cost estimates for service offerings.
* Utilizes broad portfolio-building approach, detailed subject matter expertise and communication skills to create and present innovative solutions for consulting sales to pursue new business opportunities. * Provide input to solution delivery teams to ensure the solution design meets the requirements of the client. - Leads value creation activities at industry and client events.
* Share business knowledge and market expertise while familiarizing potential clients with Emerging Health, and the company's IT service capabilities. * Survey attendees to determine their perceived value of the event and the information provided.
Qualifications

- BS Required
- Significant experience as a consultant or solutions architect Required
- The Solutions Architect must have strong communication skills, client service skills, creativity, and flexibility. . Familiarity with Healthcare clinical and financial systems and he ability to leverage specific solutions into modules for application and/or technologies in varied situations is required.
- Strong technical expertise in various technical areas such as servers (Mainframe, Unix, Windows/Intel), Databases, Networks, Data Engineering, Internet/Intranet, Workstations, and network Security is required.
- The Solutions Architect must be an innovative thinker and advocate for new alternative concepts and technology applications.
- Familiarity with Healthcare clinical and financial systems and he ability to leverage specific solutions into modules for application and/or technologies in varied situations is required.
