JOB OVERVIEW:

The Operations Specialist, Dental Schools is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational activities supporting U.S. dental school accounts.This role will focus on driving dental schools' objectives (sales and profitability) in alignment with the dental school strategic plan while ensuring operational excellence and a high level of customer satisfaction. In partnership with the Sr. Operations Manager, this role participates in maintaining key operational functions including onboarding, bid processes, contract renewals, pricing management, and dental school kit and patient pack purchases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partners with Implementation team to ensure successful onboarding of dental school customers including accurate sales plan attachment, accurate pricing setup, licensure validation, and contract eligibility alignment.

  • Assists the Sr. Operations Manager with contract linkage, pricing management, sales plan reviews, and other operational functions.

  • Collaborates with Sr. Operations Manager on dental school kit and patient pack opportunities.

  • Utilizes internal systems and reporting tools to analyze sales growth, product conversions, order efficiency, and pricing impacts. Provides actionable recommendations to Operations and HS School Leadership to improve financial performance and overall health of dental school accounts.

  • Partners with Sr. Operation Manager with data requests, analyses, and preparation for monthly business reviews.

  • Participates in dental school customer business reviews and ensures sales plans remain accurate and up to date.

  • Supports implementation of third-party platforms to enhance and streamline school buying processes.

  • Serves as liaison to the Credit team regarding school receivables and pricing discrepancies, driving resolution in a timely manner.

  • Partners with field sales team members and leadership to manage and support dental school account operations.

  • Performs special duties and participates in special projects as requested by Sr. Operations Manager and HS School leadership.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically 3 to 5 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

The posted range for this position is $63,396 - $99,056 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to be fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.

  • At the time of this posting, this position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range subject to the achievement of the plan.
