What's involved in this role:

We are looking for a Janitor in Hull, Iowa.

The Janitor performs all tasks involved in maintaining a clean work environment; adhering to the Master Sanitation Schedule and practicing safe work habits. The Janitor works in all areas of the plant as needed.

• Perform daily cleaning tasks per the Master Sanitation and Deep Cleaning Schedules.
• Perform work safely and efficiently in all areas of the plant including break rooms, locker rooms, offices, and corridors.
• Ensure work area and janitorial supplies are properly organized and maintained.
• Understand and comply with all Quality Assurance policies, immediately reporting any potential food safety issues to management.
• Complete necessary paperwork to ensure all documentation requirements are met.
• Assist in executing pest control program and monitoring facility.
• Complete non-routine cleaning/sanitation tasks as assigned.
• Assist in the training/mentoring of newly hired janitorial team members.

What you need to join our team:

• High School Education or equivalent preferred.

• No experience required; in-house training provided.
