They work with a wide range of technologies including electronics, robotics, software, sensors, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics. Mechatronics engineers use their knowledge of these different fields to create innovative solutions to real-world problems. These solutions may take the form of new products or services that help people live better lives, perform more effectively at work. Job Requirements Required skills: High School Diploma or GED Minimum 3 years of experience in electromechanical system design and development. Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics, robotics, sensors, motors, hydraulics, or pneumatics.
