As a critical member of the Office of Equal Opportunity & Civil Rights team, thewageDigital AccessibilitySpecialistserves as a subject matter expertonthe university's strategic efforts to provide accessible information and communications technology (ICT) to the university community. Reporting to the UniversityChief Accessibility Officer, this position works in collaboration with key partners toassistina collective effort to proactively and systemically address University ICT accessibility, ensure compliance, and improve the usability of ICT resources and related services.ThewageSpecialistexerciseshigh levelsof decision makingin order toprovide guidance and support to the University community.This position is six monthslimited; however, it could be extended depending on funding. This is a wage position which is not eligible for leave or other benefits and is limited to 1500 hours of work in a year. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Licensure: None. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers.
