Job Summary The Sales Operations Associate will be responsible for providing key aid to the Dealer Network, Territory Directors, and the Production Plant/Teams with quoting, specifications and information. This position will be responsible for internal and external department communication, providing guidance and expertise of company procedures, and specification capabilities to internal personnel and external customers. This position is a direct resource for Directors, Customers, and the plant on build processes, available options and specification information, and makes daily judgements for critical plant processes. Essential Functions Interpret and review specifications, changes, updates and requests from multiple internal and external sources, including customers, production, engineering and procurement. Cost trailers for submission and provide related background information Attend onsite customer visits with the Sales Department regarding specification review, pilot inspections, updates and changes. Provide key immediate knowledge to customers of Hyundai Translead. Review, assess, and decline/approve substitutions and customer change requests in conjunction with customers Process all necessary paperwork from beginning to the closing of a work order: Create order in SAP, create and organize files, email and distribute sales order and revisions to appropriate personnel, input sales and customer information into spreadsheets, create MSOs and other documentation, and maintain communicate with sales directors and customers regarding their orders Weekly and monthly reporting Coordinate with customers, sales directors, and accounting regarding maintenance of customer accounts, invoice requests Communicate daily with Dealer and Customer teams, using all available information to provide specifications and pricing to customers (quotations, specifications and pricing for Dealer customers and Direct customers/salespersons) Essential Functions (Continued) Review production scheduling and escalate appropriately for review of changes and requests Other duties as assigned Minimum Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma Previous experience working in an office environment Working knowledge of Excel and general computer software Preferred Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree General knowledge of trailer or transportation industry, production, contracts, accounting, customer service Language Requirement None Travel Requirements UP to 10% The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
