Position Title: Welding Robotic Programmer

Wage: $35.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:30am - 5:00pm (Monday - Thursday, Overtime on Friday - 6:30am - 11:00am)

Welding Robotic Programmer Responsibilities:

- Write, test and refine robot welding programs using teach pendants and offline programming software

- Define weld paths, robot motion and welding parameters to meet part specifications and quality standards

- Configure robotic welding cells, including fixtures, tools, sensors, and calibration, to ensure accurate production

- Perform machine setup and adjustments to optimize cycle times and weld consistency

- Diagnose and resolve programming or system issues affecting welding quality or performance

- Conduct test runs and quality inspections to verify program effectiveness and maintain proper documentation of programs, revisions, and calibration data

- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, tooling and maintenance teams to improve processes and cell efficiency

- Follow safety protocols to ensure robotic systems and processes meet industry standards and company safety requirements

Requirements for Welding Robotic Programmer:

- Proficiency in robot programming methods (teach pendant and/or offline tools) for brands such as FANUC, ABB, Motoman, etc.

- Understanding of welding processes, codes and specifications

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, GD&T and technical documentation

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

- Effective communication skills for working with cross-functional teams

- Previous experience in robotic welding, vocational training, or Associate's / Bachelor's degree in robotics, manufacturing, engineering, or related fields

- Additional certifications such as AWS welding or robotics training are valued

- At least four years in robotic welding and programming
