Application Review Specialist

The application review specialist performs a variety of duties involving thereview, analysis, assessment, and processing of graduate admissions applications in accordance with University guidelines, policies, and procedures. This position reports to the Dean of the Graduate School.

• Reviews, evaluates, and responds to student applications according to established policies and procedures.

• Manage the full admissions record process by entering decisions, finalizing applicant files, communicating application status updates to prospective students, and maintaining accurate, complete, and timely student records related to applications and admissions.

• Collectapplication materials and transmitcompleted application files to graduate program coordinators for review and decision.

• Conducts comprehensive application review and selection for assigned programs.

Compensation:

Starting at $20 per hour commensurate with experience

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams.

• Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some familiarity with higher education admissions ideal, but not required.
