Overview We are looking for a Model-Driven Power Apps DeveloperTechnology Consultantwho excels at understanding business requirements and translating them into structured, maintainable low-code solutions. This role focuses on Dataverse-based applications and requires close collaboration with business users to design data models, forms, workflows, and reports that support real operational needs. You will maintain and enhance model-driven apps, build reporting solutions, and leverage Copilot to accelerate development, documentation, and insight generation. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys both problem-solving with stakeholders and building practical solutions in the Power Platform. Responsibilities Business Development Identifiesopportunities to expand or accelerate the adoption and consumption of cloud and Microsoft technologies. Intellectual Property Management Acts as an ambassador in consumption of intellectual property (IP) and leverages IP in projects. Proactivelyassistsin the creation of intellectual property content and seeks areas that are available for more IP. Communicates areas that need refreshing or gaps in intellectual property. Provides feedback for continuous improvement. Operational Excellence Completes operational tasks and readiness and ensures timeliness and accuracy. Follows Microsoft policies, compliance, and procedures (e.g., Enterprise Services Authorization Policy, Standards of Business Conduct, labor logging, expenses, travel guidelines). Pre-Sales Support Participates in the pre-sale process as needed. Helps scope the project by sharing customer or technical knowledge in their specialty domain byleveragingtheirexpertiseas a subject matter expert. Readiness Learnsnew technologiesor services based on business demands and industry trends. Obtains relevant accreditations and certification(s) asadvisedby the domain leadership team. Shares experiences, best practices, and product news within the team. Participates in relevant technical communities at Microsoft. Technical Delivery Participates in and/or may lead meetings with customers/partners to understand their business needs and/orscenariothey are trying to solve.Usesbusiness, technology, and industry strategies to define customer/partner requirements and constraints. Engages others appropriately to understand and define customer requirements. Follows the capacity process outlined byResource, Insights, Capacity, and Capability (RICC) team. Maintains tools with up-to-date skills and availability. Proactivelyidentifiesissues and risks and engages with customers/partners or internal stakeholders (e.g., Project Managers) asappropriate toaddress and resolve issues. Proactively manages relationships with customers/partners/stakeholders toidentifyand contribute to the drivers of satisfaction and dissatisfaction,determinethe root cause, andestablishrecovery actions to improve the experience. Implements technical solutions by completing assigned project tasks with defined quality standards and following Industry Solutions processes. Oversees aspects of implementation. Supports project planning and the development of project documents by defining the risks and dependencies. Communicates the business value of planned solutions to customers/ partners with direction/guidance.Implementsmitigations on technical and business risks. Manages their schedule and communicates with project leads. Delivers against Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Additional Responsibilities Partner with business users to understand requirements, clarify processes, and propose Power Platform solutions. Design and maintain Dataverse tables, relationships, forms, views, and business rules. Build and enhance model-driven Power Apps based on evolving business needs. Design and implement workflow and automation logic using Dataverse workflows and/or Power Automate. Create andmaintainPower BI reports and dashboards using Dataverse or Excel data sources. Use Microsoft Copilot toassistwith logic drafting, documentation, data analysis, and repetitive development tasks. Assistwith solution packaging, environment deployments, and versioning. Troubleshoot issues, support user requests, and perform ongoing application maintenance. Document requirements, data models, configurations, workflows, and design decisions. Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field AND 1+ year(s) work experience in relevant area of business OR equivalent experience. Other Requirements Security Clearance Requirements: Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are requiredfor this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: The successful candidate must have aminimum of an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance . Abilityto meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are requiredfor this role. Failure to maintainor obtain the appropriate clearanceand/or customerscreening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination. Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment. Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be requiredto pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Citizenship & Citizenship Verification:This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport, or other approved documents, or verified US government Clearance Preferred or additional qualifications: Experience building ormaintainingmodel-driven Power Apps. Working knowledge of Dataverse tables, relationships, forms, and views. Ability to translate business requirements into functional application designs. Basic experience with workflow or automation logic (Dataverse workflows and/or Power Automate). Ability to build or modify Power BI dashboards. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Clear communication skills and comfort working directly with business users. Willingness to adopt Copilot-assisted development practices. Familiarity with Power Automate for business process automation. Understanding of solution layering, ALM concepts, and environment management. Basic JavaScript experience for form customization. Experience with security roles, data modeling, or governance concepts. Prior experience in a functional analyst, business systems, or citizen-developer-enablement role. Technology Consulting IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $76,200 - $154,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $99,700 - $167,300 per year.
