As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support site operations by observing, documenting, and communicating concerns clearly, while delivering helpful customer service to team members and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the building, parking areas, yard and/or perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points such as gates, guard shacks and/or entry doors, verifying credentials, logging arrivals and departures and directing drivers to designated areas as required by site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calling for assistance, supporting first responders and completing required notifications.
• Document and report observations, patrol findings and incidents using written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
