This Engineer will be responsible for oversight of the Chlorine Dioxide onsite generation equipment platform. This includes supporting sales and engineering throughout the sales process of an Onsite Chlorine Dioxide generation offering starting as early as possible during the discovery phase and ending after customer approved start up and commissioning, product design and upgrades, training for sales, engineering and service personnel, and high-level troubleshooting.
What You Will Do:
Ensures compliance with all Ecolab Health, Safety and Environmental Policies Liaise with field sales reps, engineers and customers to identify new business opportunities Liaise with field sales reps and engineers for proper scoping & proposal documentation (incl. Scope of Works, method statements, Risk Assessments, Technical Sheets and Maintenance Protocol) Follow up on larger Chlorine Dioxide projects.
Works with sales rep(s) and engineers from discovery phase through commissioning and ongoing support. Liaise with customers Coordinate's project related activities through Equipment planners, Project Engineers, Service Technicians and 3rd party DBI partners (Design Build & Install)
Supports Technical Training of Sales staff on demand Provides detailed training to Engineers and Service personnel Executes Site inspections/surveys in conjunction with Sales and Engineering or directly from customer (in consultation with sales rep) Initiates/creates basic maintenance process needed to ensure proper functioning of project related equipment & installation (technical specifications) Provides product line design oversight and management of change Assist manufacturing with fabrication and checkout as necessary Ensures accuracy of design drawings and BOMs and resolves discrepancies Communicates effectively with all parties involved (Sales/Customer/Planners/Supervisors/ Technician/3rd parties) Supports customers (Internal and External) during and after service Network with internal experts, technology partners and vendors to search for new and different approaches to solve customer problems Coordinate with technology anchor teams to research and investigate early innovation ideas Promote high functioning teams: provide a clear vision, link projects to the strategy, understand team motivators and define clear individual team member objectives
Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineer or related technical degree 2 years of work experience in an appropriate Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering discipline. Ability to manage multiple requests for support Ability to travel (approximately 25%) on an as needed basis (not routine) Immigration Sponsorship not available for this role
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the following platforms is preferred (AutoCAD, Word, Excel, SAP, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.) Hands on experience with mechanical and electrical systems desired. Interface and troubleshoot various PLC instrumentation with new and legacy control systems Familiar with chemical handling or willing to learn
Familiar with industrial water usage or willing to learn Understanding of industrial control panels or willing to learn
Familiar with PLC automation & controls or willing to learn Familiar with motor drives or willing to learn Understanding of DC control circuits or willing to learn
Ability to read electrical schematics or willing to learn Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting or willing to learn
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The pay range for this position is $85,900.00 - $128,900.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
