Job Description

D365 (Finance & Operations) - SCM Functional Consultant (Manufacturing, Warehousing & Logistics | Support / AMS) Role Overview Senior D365 Finance & Operations SCM Functional Consultant for a long term support engagement in a regulated Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical Manufacturing environment. The role focuses on functional support, process stabilization, and continuous improvement across manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics processes typical of a CDMO operating under GxP / GMP regulations, within a global support model.

Location requirement: This role must be based in the United States (US).

Key Responsibilities

* Provide L2/L3 functional support for SCM incidents and recurring issues.

* Perform functional Root Cause Analysis (RCA) related to manufacturing, inventory, and logistics.

* Support manufacturing operations, including:

o Batch based production

o BOM / formula management

o Production orders and execution

* Support warehouse and inventory management, including:

o Raw materials, WIP, and finished goods

o Lot and batch tracking

o Inventory status and physical inventory

* Support logistics and distribution, including inbound, outbound, and inter site transfers.

* Validate Change Requests and minor enhancements from an SCM functional perspective.

* Ensure alignment with GxP / GMP compliance and controlled change processes.

* Maintain functional documentation and contribute to incident reduction year over year (Y2Y).

* Act as a trusted functional advisor for US manufacturing and supply chain users.

Required Experience

* 5+ years supporting D365 F&O SCM in AMS / support roles.

* Strong knowledge of manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics in regulated environments.

* Experience in pharmaceutical / life sciences manufacturing (batch, lot controlled).

* Familiarity with GxP / GMP processes.

* Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills.

Certifications Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations are highly valued, particularly:

* Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate

* Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Expert

Nice to have:

* Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert (MB 700)

* Power Platform exposure (functional or admin)

* Azure fundamentals Engagement

* Long term managed services contract

* Cloud based ERP

* US based role within a global support organization
