Who we are looking for: We are currently searching for a Manufacturing Engineer to be based in Louisville, KY for our Plastic Pipe & Conduit Strategic Business Unit. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this person will be responsible for supporting current manufacturing and facilitating the continuous improvement processes associated with the manufacturing methods and processes in the plant facilities. They will also develop solutions for production problems related to materials, processes, and tooling as well as support new products and programs by developing new processes, designing tooling and machinery, and developing production controls. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline and a minimum of 2 years of Process/Manufacturing Engineering experience in an industrial environment. Experience in PVC extrusion, lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus. What you'll do:
