The Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading and innovating full cycle recruiting efforts across Sargento. The individual in this role will be responsible for recruitment strategies and marketing while balancing processes and policies to ensure compliance with employment law. In this role, the individual will own the end-to-end talent acquisition lifecycle for our growing brand, partnering closely with leaders across the business to hire exceptional talent while delivering an outstanding candidate experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

What You Do.



  • This position has supervisory responsibility a Recruiting Supervisor and a team of 3-6 individuals.


  • Lead, develop, and manage a highly performing team of recruiters to support the organization's growth and evolving talent needs.
  • Provide clear performance expectations, development feedback, and opportunities for team learning and experimentation.
  • Manage various Talent Acquisition functions including recruiting strategy, processes, technology, coordination and third-party partnerships.
  • Create a culture of agility, innovation, and continuous improvement aligned company values.
  • Develops and oversees Talent Acquisition budgets and collateral to attract applicants.
  • Effectively utilize ATS tools/reports to capture metrics/KPIs for all recruiting activities.
  • Own relationship with third party relocation partners to effectively administer the relocation program and make enhancement to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Partners with internal Workforce Development team to build relationships, make public presentations and initiate community outreach with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract qualified applicants to support company recruitment initiatives.
  • Develops and coordinates all interview compliance training for leaders and interviewers.
  • Maintains accurate records of personnel transactions such as applicant and hire records to maintain compliance with government reporting requirements.
  • Stays current on equal opportunity and affirmative action regulations to ensure compliance in accordance with government requirements.
  • Key Member of Employer Brand Steering Team to create strategic marketing and communications plans, budgets, and execute innovative initiatives to enhance awareness of the Sargento Employer Brand in local, state-wide, regional, and national markets.
  • Maintains complete and steadfast confidentiality in all matters regarding recruitment, compensation and other appropriate human resource issues.



Your Education and Experience.



  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources, and a minimum of three years of direct supervision experience.
  • Experience with developing innovative and targeted sourcing plans such as social networking, college recruiting, intern programs and employee referral programs required.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations related to recruiting, employment, EEO, and Affirmative Action required.
  • Talent Sourcing certifications (AIRS CIR) preferred.
