At the direction of the Vice President of Legal Services and the System Risk Manager, the Insurance Coordinator will provide administrative direction and support to Northside Hospital's insurance program. The Insurance Coordinator will have oversight of all insurance matters including renewal applications, request and maintain Certificate of Insurance claims histories and claims. The Insurance Coordinator will analyze incidents and investigate claims to identify potential risks and limit or prevent loss, functioning as a medical malpractice and general liability claims adjuster for Northside Hospital.

REQUIRED

• Bachelor of Science degree in a health-related field or at least 3 years' experience in Risk Management.

PREFERRED

• Masters in Nursing, Business, or related field.
• CPHRM (Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management) and/or CIC, CMIS (Certified Medical Insurance Specialist) Certification.
• Demonstrated computer knowledge.
