The NP practices independently in patient management decisions and collaboratively with attending physicians and interdisciplinary team members to address the health care needs of Clinical Genetics patients. As an expert clinical resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate, the NP may also provide care within the gene therapy infusion center.
