Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Role and Position Objectives:

As a Systems Engineer, work with a cross functional team responsible for developing systems and cryptographic specifications and testing mission critical Department of War Cybersecurity devices. Responsibilities will include designing security architectures and protocols, developing key management strategies, and working in the Interoperability Test Bed (ITB) testing voice, data, and conferencing security devices. You'll be working at the cutting edge of Cybersecurity.

What You'll Experience:

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design and test cutting-edge Department of War cybersecurity devices.
  • Develop security architectures, cryptographic protocols, and key management strategies.
  • Work hands-on with cryptographic devices that secure voice, data, and conferencing applications.
  • Lead the testing of mission-critical cybersecurity solutions.
  • Play a key role in safeguarding national security with cutting-edge technology.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Expertise in cryptographic algorithms and secure communication systems.
  • Experience writing specifications, test plans, and performing "black box" testing.
  • Strong communication skills, including presenting technical material to large international audiences.
  • CISSP certification (or equivalent) and a passion for tackling technical challenges.

Workplace Details:

  • Fully on-site in Dedham, Massachusetts, as part of the Dedham Cyber Engineering team.

Target salary range: USD $164,892.00/Yr. - USD $173,910.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
