About the Role

As a Thermoforming Automation Maintenance Technician, you play a key role in keeping automated equipment running safely, efficiently, and consistently. You'll work handson with mechanical, electrical, and automation systems that support product handling, packaging, and overall production flow. This role is a great fit if you enjoy troubleshooting, improving equipment performance, and working with advanced automation technology. You'll help drive reliability, support continuous improvement, and contribute directly to the success of the thermoforming operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs daily inspections and preventive maintenance on automation equipment.

  • Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, and automationrelated issues.

  • Completes repairs and supports automationfocused maintenance projects.

  • Identifies improvement opportunities that support equipment reliability and efficiency.

  • Ensures automated systems operate safely and meet production and quality standards.

  • Handles and packages products according to established procedures.

  • Maintains consistent, highquality output from automated equipment.

  • Communicates equipment status, issues, and improvement ideas with maintenance and production teams.

  • Supports departmental goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned by maintenance leadership.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in maintenance or automation maintenance.

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

  • Familiarity with automation systems and manufacturing processes.

  • Able to read and interpret technical documentation and equipment information.

  • Proficient computer skills for documentation and maintenance systems.

  • Strong problemsolving, multitasking, and communication skills.

  • Dependable, safetyfocused, and committed to continuous improvement.

  • Willing to participate in ongoing training and development.

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements:
  • Able to lift up to 35 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

  • Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb ladders.

  • Comfortable working around oils, grease, inks, solvents, and highnoise environments.

  • Has good manual dexterity and 20/20 corrected vision.

  • Able to distinguish colors for troubleshooting and inspection.

  • Demonstrates professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude.

Additional Information:

Compensation: $29.00/hour + shift differential

Work Schedule: 7:00pm-7:00am following a 2-2-3 schedule (every other weekend off!)
