TITLE: Donor Integrations Analyst

DEPARTMENT: Community Relations and Development

STATUS: Full Time, Non-Exempt

SALARY: $25 - $27

Scope of Position:

The Donor Integrations Analyst, under the direction of the Donor Data Operations Center Director, manages no-code integrations systems, Bright Vine Data Link (BVDL), to ensure that the Donor Database application, Blackbaud CRM (BBCRM), is up to date with other systems and receives and sends data as needed.

Education and Work Experience:



  1. 2 years experience entering data into a CRM or ERP System
  2. Experience with gift and financial processing.
  3. Familiarity with not-for-profit gift processing business rules
  4. Basic understanding of Chart of Accounts practices a plus

Software-related skills



  1. Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and shared workspaces for daily coordination and task tracking
  2. Experience using project or work-management tools such as Asana, Jira, or similar to manage assignments and cross-training coverage
  3. Strong skills with data import/export tools (CSV, Excel, ETL utilities) for large-volume data movement



  1. Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel (macros, formulas, and formatting), CoPilot, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Google Docs/Sheets.
  2. Ability to maintain technical documentation for integrations, schedules, and business rules

Responsibilities:



  1. Collaboration

    • Communicate daily with Territorial Donor Data Operations Director regarding messages, and information; sharing and receiving instruction and guidance on work to be completed.
    • Works closely with Donor Data Operations Center staff to ensure that gift related integrations and workflows are efficient and accurate per gift processing rules.
    • Cross trains on other department functions and provides coverage for colleagues as needed.


  2. Database Support

    • Maintain CRM's integration processes utilizing Bright Vine Data Link in Blackbaud CRM. This includes configuration of all integration logic and schedules, coming from but not limited to, the caging company, online gift forms, prospect research databases, general ledger system, and the data warehouse. Maintain documentation pertaining to such configurations.
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of gift processing through regular review of DDOC instructions and frequent participation in gift processing decision discussions. Apply knowledge to logic and schedule of configuration in BVDL
    • Update and improve quality of CRM data by processing large volume data exports, imports, and global changes, and mass merges per business rules


  3. Data Quality Audits

    • Record quality issues, identify patterns of inaccuracies, and recommend instructions for review by individual processors to decrease instances of errors
    • Prepare audit and control reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operating information and performance metrics trends
    • Conduct systematic reviews of territorial business rules and documentation to maintain internal control systems, updating documentation when necessary, and recommend new policies and procedures focused on continuous improvement
    • Appraise adequacy of internal control systems, recommend new Portfolio Quality Control Reports for use by individual processors, and monitor the use of Quality Control Reports to ensure the result of utilization is increasing DDOC efficiencies and reducing errors


  4. Help Desk

    • Research, test, apply solutions, resolve, and close helpdesk tickets as assigned. Particularly as related to integration issues or large volume data processes.


  5. Meet or exceed productivity requirements
  6. All other duties as assigned by the Territorial Executive Director of Development, Territorial Senior Director of Donor Data & Insights, and the Territorial Donor Data Operations Center Director


Physical requirements:

Qualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation. The candidate should be capable of lifting items up to 50 lbs. and must have the ability to access and produce information from a computer. Lastly, they must have the ability to comprehend written information effectively.

This position is primarily sedentary and requires the ability to remain at a keyboard for periods of up to two hours with minimal interruption. Ability to operate a keyboard is essential. Ability to operate under stressful working conditions in a rapidly changing work environment with multiple priorities is required.
