Your main responsibilities

PRIMARY FUNCTION / POSITION OVERVIEW:


The Complete Product Sourcing Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end commercial and strategic management of Third-Party complete product suppliers supporting New Installation and Modernization operations across Schindler Elevator Corporation. This position provides strategic leadership in supplier management, including pricing frameworks, contractual alignment, performance management, and partnership development, while working closely with Sales, Field Operations, NPMS Sourcing, and NI and MOD leadership.

Key Responsibilities:


Supplier Strategy & Governance


* Own the strategic relationship with Third-Party complete product suppliers for NI and MOD activities.
* Develop and execute supplier strategies, including segmentation, preferred supplier models, and risk mitigation plans.
* Lead supplier business reviews, performance evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Commercial Management


* Develop, negotiate, and maintain pricing lists, commercial frameworks, and long-term supply agreements in collaboration with NPMS Sourcing.
* Ensure pricing consistency, transparency, and competitiveness across regions and product lines.
* Support contract renewals, amendments, and escalation management without engaging in PO execution.


Cross-Functional Collaboration


* Work closely with Sales Representatives nationwide to support quoting, pricing alignment, and supplier feasibility during the sales phase.
* Act as a strategic liaison between Sales, Field Operations, MOD, and Sourcing, ensuring supplier capabilities align with project needs.
* Provide guidance to field teams on supplier selection, scope alignment, and commercial best practices.
* Support contract renewals, amendments, and escalation management without engaging in PO execution.


Performance & Analytics


* Define and monitor supplier KPIs (cost, quality, delivery, responsiveness, safety, and compliance).
* Analyze spend, performance trends, and market dynamics to identify savings, value creation, and risk exposure.
* Drive corrective action plans with suppliers when performance gaps are identified.


Process & Continuous Improvement


* Support the evolution of POH sourcing and supplier management processes for NI and MOD.
* Contribute to standardization of commercial terms, pricing structures, and supplier engagement models.
* Act as a subject matter expert for POH supplier strategy, supporting internal projects and initiatives as needed.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

35% POH Supplier Strategy & Performance Management
Own supplier strategies for NI and MOD POH activities, including supplier segmentation, KPI definition, performance reviews, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
25% Commercial & Pricing Management
Develop, negotiate, and maintain pricing lists, commercial frameworks, long-term supply agreements, and pricing escalation mechanisms (tariffs, raw material fluctuations) in collaboration with NPMS Sourcing.
25% Cross-Functional Collaboration & Sales Support
Partner with Sales representatives nationwide, Field Operations, MOD leadership, and NPMS Sourcing to support quoting, supplier alignment, feasibility reviews, and commercial decision-making.
10% Contract Governance & Supplier Relationship Management
Support contract renewals, amendments, dispute resolution, and escalation management while maintaining strong supplier relationships and governance standards.
5% Process Improvement & Strategic Projects
Contribute to standardization, analytics, supplier governance frameworks, and special projects supporting POH sourcing and MOD initiatives.

  • Elevator Manufacturing or Installation Experience preferred
  • Supplier Management Experience
  • Purchasing Experience
  • Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management - 7 years
  • Commercial Negotiations, Pricing Models & Cost Structures - 7 years
  • Contract Management & Supplier Governance - 5 years
  • Supplier Performance Management & KPI Development - 5 years
  • Spend Analysis, Market Intelligence & Cost Drivers (tariffs, raw materials) - 5 years
  • MS Office Suite (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint) & Analytics Tools - 5 years
  • ERP / Procurement Systems Knowledge (SAP or equivalent - strategic use) - 5 years



Base Salary $113,400 - $141,000


The above represents the typical salary range for this position. Revisions to the range may be considered based on your experience, education, location, demonstrated skills, and alignment with business priorities. Please note that the compensation listed reflects only base salary and does not include commissions or longer-term incentives.


Salary range may differ based on the final geographic location of the position.
