Registered Nurse-EHOMS

Cape Fox Eagle Health, LLC is accepting resumes for aRegistered Nurseto provide medical and counseling services at theNationalInstitute of Health Occupational Medical Service (OMS) Department located in Bethesda, Maryland. This position is 30 hours a week - Three 10-hour shifts from 7am to 5:30pm.

The total hourly pay for this non-exempt position is $47.57 for up to 40 hours per week. This is comprised of a base hourly rate of $43.00plus $4.57per hour Health & Welfare (H&W) for up to 40 hours per week as required by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) regulations.The rate represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, for eligible positions we offer a variety of benefits including specified holidays, paid sick and vacation leave, and 401K with company match. ClinicalResponsibilities(70%)

• Ability toworkwithinamulti-disciplinary team to perform initial assessment, treatment and counseling of occupational injuries and illness and mental health crises and make referrals to internal and external providers related to injury or illness when necessary.
• Provideproperdocumentationandeducation about workers compensation and work restrictionsfollowinganaccidentorillness.
• Assistinimplementinghealthpromotionactivitieswithinthe NIHcommunity.
• Independentlyconductpre-placement medical evaluations to include vital signs, hearing/vision testing and EKG's.
• Enrollandeducateemployeesinappropriatemedicalsurveillanceprograms(animalexposureprogram,tuberculosis,andbiologicalsuretyprogram).
• Strongworkingknowledgeofprovidingpatienteducationandtreatmenttoemployeeswhomay exposedtobloodbornepathogens.
• Provideworkrelatedimmunizations,includinginternationaltravelimmunizationsandcounselingto NIHemployees.
• Managetriagetelephonecallsandwalk-patientsinaprofessionalandwithquickassessmentskills.
• NursewillbecrosstrainedforcoverageinsatelliteclinicinFrederickandBaltimore.
• Performinitialevaluationandtriagingmedicalemergencies.
• Assist in the clinical care proved for medical the clinical care provided for medical emergencies to include wound care, medication administration, phlebotomy, EKG's and BGM.

AdministrativeResponsibilities(30%)

• ReviewandreviseallsectionsoftheOMSproceduremanualannually.
• Participateinqualityimprovementactivities andnursetrainingandstaff meetings.
• WorkwithOMSPhysiciansandAdvanced Practice Providers on new OMS initiatives.
