The Laborer/Light Equipment Operator at Arkema's Calvert City site is a union hourly position responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the efficient operation of the facility. This role involves operating light equipment, assisting with maintenance activities, handling materials, and ensuring a safe, compliant, and clean work environment.

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate light equipment such as forklifts, tractors, and other machinery as required.
• Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the Calvert City site.
• Maintenance Support: Assist maintenance teams with routine and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Site Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including waste disposal, sweeping, and mopping.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all Arkema and Calvert City site safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Skills:
  • Ability to operate light equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Basic understanding of maintenance procedures.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
