WisPak, a leading manufacturer and distributor of some of the nation's most recognized beverage brands a highly analytical Environmental, Health & Safety professional who thrives on solving complex challenges, building robust systems, and driving operational excellence. As our Facility Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist in plant in Watertown, WI, you will serve as the facility's technical EHS expert, ensuring regulatory compliance, strengthening process safety programs, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working with data, regulations, investigations, and systems while making a measurable impact on the organization's safety and environmental performance. Working closely with the Director of Environmental Health, Safety, and Security, you will lead critical EHS initiatives, provide technical guidance to leaders across the facility, and drive sustainable solutions that reduce risk and improve operational effectiveness.

About the Role



  • Maintain and oversee a compliant Process Safety Management program.
  • Monitor and uphold all EHS compliance requirements across the facility.
  • Complete Tier II, stormwater, and wastewater reporting.
  • Manage hazardous and non hazardous waste streams.
  • Partner with employees in a cooperative, respectful, and solutions focused manner.
  • Ensure accuracy and legal compliance of all EHS programs, documentation, and reporting.
  • Conduct thorough incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action recommendations.
  • Collaborate with leadership and engineering teams on equipment, facility, and process design to ensure safe, ergonomic work environments.
  • Serve as Chairperson of the Safety Committee and actively support its initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees.
  • Stay current on DOT, OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain safety equipment, first aid supplies, and emergency response readiness.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports to facility leadership and executive management.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety professional who is committed to creating a workplace where people feel safe, supported, and empowered. As our Facility Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist, you'll help strengthen our safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the facility. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact-protecting our team, improving our processes, and upholding the highest environmental and safety standards. Working closely with the Director of Environmental Health, Safety, and Security, you'll guide key EHS initiatives and serve as a trusted resource for employees at every level, helping keep our facility safe, compliant, and ready for the future.

What you will bring:



  • Deep technical knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, Process Safety Management (PSM), hazardous materials management, and emergency preparedness requirements.
  • Proven experience conducting compliance audits, leading incident investigations, performing root cause analysis, and implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Strong ability to interpret complex regulations, identify compliance gaps, and translate requirements into practical, sustainable operational solutions.
  • Demonstrated success managing detailed documentation, regulatory reporting, and compliance records with exceptional accuracy.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid Certification required; Instructor certification preferred.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate data, identify trends, assess risk, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, manage competing deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, including data analysis, reporting, and technical documentation.
  • Comfortable working independently as the facility's EHS subject matter expert while collaborating effectively with operations, engineering, and leadership teams.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to accountability, process discipline, and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Flexibility to support off-shift operations as needed to ensure regulatory compliance, incident response, and critical EHS initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene or related field and 3+ years environmental, health, and safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is required. Candidates without a Bachelor's degree will be considered with 11+ years relevant professional experience in EHS & Safety.

Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, PSM, hazardous materials, and emergency preparedness requirements. Experience with compliance audits, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and regulatory reporting. Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, collaborate across teams, and support off-shift operations as needed. CPR/AED/First Aid certification required; instructor certification preferred. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
