Description

    Developing comprehensive supportability procedures and strategic plans aligned with DoD instruction 5000.2, focusing on ten Integrated Logistic Support Technical disciplines to optimize life cycle cost efficiency and meet complex acquisition program requirements
  • Assisting in planning supportability testing
  • Assisting with implementation and maintains automated logistic support databases
  • Operating in a fast-paced environment so personal discipline and a high work ethic are a must.
  • Assisting in preparing supportability capabilities for integration with overall program designs under close supervision
  • Assisting in the preparation of program supportability procedures and plans based on established supportability procedures
  • Entering and maintaining supportability documentation in automated logistics support analysis records
  • Assisting in preparing supportability trade-off studies in the ten logistics technical disciplines to determine alternate support concepts within cost parameters

Requirements

  • This job requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Performing work in this job's occupational field requires the application of complex, technical professional disciplines requiring a four-year degree or equivalent and the extensive, applied use of related concepts, practices, and methods
  • In relation to other jobs in the same function, this job requires a fundamental level of proficiency to work on assignments of standard difficulty
  • We seek analytical professionals with exceptional data interpretation skills, strong technical expertise, and the ability to transform complex information into strategic insights
  • This position will primarily be focused on purchasing required materials for government programs


Desired Skills

  • Personal discipline and a high work ethic are a must due to operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior purchasing experience is a plus
  • Other important skills include verbal and written communication skills and computer skills


Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
